Allicin vs Spirochete

Folklore concerning garlic has been documented in many ancient books and inscriptions. Koreans ate garlic before passing through the mountains because it was believed  to keep the tigers away and Central Europeans used garlic to ward off vampires and evil spirits. I don’t know about you….but I am inclined to think of Spirochetes as demons or evil spirits so it should not be a surprise to hear that garlic is bad for the bugs!

Garlic is a source of all sorts of good things that our bodies need…..Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Selenium, Manganese to name a few. All of those things help to make our bodies immune system stronger and our cardiovascular systems more effective. It gets better though…..

Those are three of my favorite antis!! Garlic contains a natural antibiotic called allicin. And this is where my  Food for Lyme tip comes in…..

*Allicin starts to degrade immediately after it is produced, so its medical effectiveness decreases over time. Cooking speeds up this degradation and microwaving appears to destroy allicin totally and eliminate any health benefits.
So for the most powerful medicinal effect, crush a little raw garlic and combine with the cooked food shortly before serving. A little goes a long way!!!

I love garlic and it has produced herxes. I believe that when you crush the garlic and then coat it in oil that the anti abilities of Allicin survives.

I have two great recipes to share. Which I will do as separate posts to prevent confusion.

Garlic sauce

Crush 1 - 2 cloves of garlic and immediately cover with oil. I prefer a good Olive Oil. Add salt and pepper to taste Cover and let sit for about 10 or so minutes.

chopped tomato is amazing when added to this sauce
feta cheese

I serve this sauce with pasta, potatoes, rice and as a pizza sauce.

the garlic is best crushed with a mortar and pestle which I love owning.

GOOT - a garlic oil salve.
The first few times I used this recipe I herxed. It has stopped viruses in their tracks.

GOOT Garlic Oil Treatment
Warm three tablespoons of Coconut oil over stove until melted and add three tablespoons of olive oil. Remove from heat and add three tablespoons of fresh chopped garlic. Blend at slow speed, then at high speed for two minutes. Use a blender. Pour mixture through a screen to remove chunks of garlic that the blender may have missed. Pour into a wide mouth jar and label it "GOOT." Place in a refrigerator.Freshly made, the mixture is a milky color and runny. GOOT turns into a thick soft paste after one hour.

GOOT, rubbed into the skin, transfers raw garlic oil directly into the blood stream.
Apply on the feet of children or infants to fight infections. Rub on chest for chest colds, pneumonia or rub into nostrils for sinus infections.Place on cotton swab for ear infections. Apply directly to sores inside the mouth. Rub on Athlete's foot or genital area for jock itch. Insert GOOT into affected area for yeast or other related infections. Apply on rashes any place. GOOT kills Candida, parasites, bad bacteria and virus by direct application.
In addition, it treats systemic infections by absorption through the skin into the blood supply and travels throughout the body. After two weeks, make a new batch of GOOT. Although it still is effective weeks later.

Most of this information is from MelissaDSC GOOT Recipe. Thank you Melissa, for this info. I am putting it on here in entirety for record, in case the original page is ever gone.

How long do you leave goot on before showering?

Alyssa said...

I checked on the time you should leave on....reply is below:

"I put it on my feet and then add socks and leave it for hours and hours. I especially like to do this at bedtime. It is not greasy as it absorbs into the skin quite quickly. It has not stained my socks either.

I also use Goot on some excema I have in my ears and that gets absorbed as well."

BEWARE! Do not put fresh garlic, crushed or whole into oil and then keep long time. It will cause botulism! When you eat that, you may think you are getting a herx, where as you are getting botulinum toxin which can be DEADLY! EAT FRESH GARLIC or cook it. I repeat, do not keep fresh garlic inside oil.
